‘I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but…’

And then they say something bad. Something that affects you negatively. You losing your job. You not getting any benefit. You failing a test. So on and so forth.

And it’s funny the way things work.

Because.

Most, if not everyone from whom you hear this message will tell you bad news only. Or tell you when you’ve done something wrong or something bad. They do not acknowledge all the hard work you put in, all the hours you sacrificed to learn something, or all the good stuff you missed out on.

Whether that is you being a work drone for some corporate enslavement institution or a student at high school, working so hard on Getting good grades.

There’s a famous poem or saying called ‘The Man In The Arena’. I forget who wrote it. I certainly didn’t. I won’t re-post it here since it is too long and detailed.

But.

It effectively States that you shouldn’t listen to any spectator at a sports game who has never tried. Instead, listen to and focus on, the man in the arena who comes up short again and again with his face marred by dust. And yes, I stole and paraphrased that last sentence from said poem.

Anyway.

In life you’ll see that most of the spectators who almost urge to inform you about your shortcomings, highlight your mistakes and remind you that ‘You’re nothing, really’ are ALL EV’s.

Almost sans exception.

In fact I cannot think of a single instance where this is not the case.

These EV’s prove themselves to be bad for your surroundings, your mental and physical health over and over again.

In fact, Why do you even allow them to enter your personal sphere? Why do you listen to and acknowledge their words? Because that’s all they have. A poison tongue. Mean words. Relentlessness and wrecklessness.

You know that there are ways to defang these snakes, right?

Whether it is your boss, annoying work colleague or God forbid, your friend.

And I can teach you how to effectively deal with these cancerous tumors on a daily basis. The only catch is, you should have pretty deep pockets, be prepared to pay in advance and be willing to do a lot of work.

That’s just how I roll.

Anyway. Reach out to me this sounds interesting and you’d like a call.
