‘But it gets so expensive living there!’
Not completely sure what the context was. Nor do I really care. What I care mostly about was how the two guys I observed at the AirPort where seated next to one another at the coffee shop and how one of them, who did the complaining, was bringing the mood down.
After carefully observing the pair for a while, it looked like either of them were really Energy Vampires.
Sort of like ‘competing’ to speak negatively about things. Finding genuine comfort in not speaking positively about anything. Instead being focused on just about every single bad thing in the World.
I’d never really thought this through, but before, but then it *really* dawned on me;
This is their means of escaping their horrific life.
They have so little to do, so much spare time and next to nothing exciting going on for them, they’d rather sit there and focus on all the bad stuff. Instead of talking about and much rather doing all the things that could bring them further ahead in life. And it doesn’t just stop there. Because, if you not only focus on speaking about and highlighting all the positive stuff, you pretty much want to spread positivity and joy to others.
And that is Exactly what EE’s do.
Even if the conversation topic Might not be interesting, the task at hand is quite simple;
Actually making others enjoy your company.
And focusing on making life better for them.
This is so simple to do, yet so many people struggle doing it.

EE: Energy Enabler. A positive, happy and uplifting person that makes you feel good and who wants you to succeed. They always cheer for you and they want to Believe in you. Makes you want to want to go around and affect other people in the same way. Often good looking and successful.
EV: Energy Vampire. Someone who brings you down mentally and psychologically. Often they attack you passive aggressively or they use your attention to make themselves feel good. Hardly or never compliments you. You feel like all life has been sucked out of you when you interact with them.
