There is something I’d like to talk about.
I see many people struggling with it. Perhaps you’re one of them. In fact, I’d do all but guarantee that you are one of them. Because the following applies to everyone on this planet.
I am talking about so-called ‘motivation’ and what you must to do be motivated.
And that is where most people fall flat. For a very good reason. They’re not motivated and they feel unhappy doing what they’re doing. Then they’re being told they must find their motivation or their ‘Inner energy’ or some other silly nonsense.
Look.
You do not necessarily have to be motivated in order to execute. You just need to be disciplined. You think Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos all struggled with their ‘motivation’ every day and spent time ‘finding the motivation’ and ‘will’ to work on their business? Of course not. They understood the importance and need for willpower and discipline. They didn’t stop working just because they didn’t feel like doing it. If they did they wouldn’t have become so rich as they are known for.
This all goes back to using ENERGY in spite of circumstances.
Anyone who wants you to spend time becoming ‘happy’ or ‘motivated’ is simply wasting your time, and potentially your money as Well.
Listen.
You can always do better.
And the first step of doing so is to go and do the work and do it Well. Especially on the days where you don’t ‘feel like’ doing anything.
Which is Nearly every day.
Stop looking for excuses to laugh.
