Benefits of being sick

You know when you’re sick and you don’t have any energy?

All you really want to do is to lay in bed all day long, not even wanting to get up in the morning? And truth to be told, perhaps your body would benefit from you being a little more relaxed? 

I don’t know, I’m not a doctor, I’m just observing what I’ve been through and what has worked for me whenever I’ve gotten the flu or a cold. 

One slight benefit of being sick is that your desire to eat vanishes out the window. 

At least that applies for me. I really am not in the mood for eating something. I don’t want to indulge in anything. I just want to relax and hope the disease vanishes. 

Usually it does. 

However, a slight disadvantage is that I have a craving for sweet stuff. Like candy, chocolate, soft drinks and so on. For some reason I feel the urge to stuff myself full of it. Which of course isn’t healthy and doesn’t help my body at all.

But, not my fault it tastes so good. 

Anyway, it’s time to cut to the chase. 

Whether you’re sick or not and irrespective of how much you eat, there may be a solution to those who struggle to lose weight.
