A guilt admission…

Alright. 


It’s time to confess to something that I probably shouldn’t have done. But, irrespective of me doing it or not, I don’t regret it one bit. Simply because it has been such as pleasant experience. 

So what is the horrible thing I shouldn’t have done? 

Eating chocolate and candy pretty much every single day for over a week. In fact close to 10 days. I don’t know how many calories I’ve stuffed into my own body, let alone how much exercise I should have been doing.

Yes, I know, it isn’t healthy. 


I shouldn’t have done it, but there’s chocolate all over my place so…..

…someone’s gotta eat it, right? 

I’m sure you agree. 

I’m also sure you, just like me, agree that sometimes in life, you can indulge in forbidden foods that don’t belong anywhere over an extended period of time. Such as when summer hits and you just want to sit down and relax. Because, what would life be if there weren’t any guilty pleasures that you could rejoice in? 

It would have been a horrible, boring life. 


Yes, maybe you’d be in better shape and more healthy. 

But you’d also be more miserable. 


So while your physical health may have been great, your mental health would have suffered. And this is the problem with too many diet and exercise freaks today. They simply measure everything in calories, forgetting that there is a more holistic approach to life. Such as prioritizing your own happiness. 


I’m not saying that you should eat chocolate every day for more than a week like I did. 

Although it made me happier. 

I’m just saying there is no black or white when it comes to weight loss and dieting. 

Which brings me to the point.
